When you reach your thirties, your body becomes vulnerable and your immune system gets weaker. You need to help out your aging body preserve its strength and youthfulness. Being in your thirties doesn’t mean that you are old, and it’s definitely not the same as being in your fifties. However, that’s the time when our body starts to show the signs of aging as a consequence of a busy and hard life.

1. You are prone to becoming obese

As we age, our bodies start to regenerate and burn calories a bit slower, so people in their thirties are prone to gaining a few pounds very quickly. Because of that, you need to take care of your body and strengthen it by staying in excellent physical condition. If you haven’t done any exercises, it’s not too late to start. So, find a physical activity that you enjoy, and start exercising immediately.

There are various activities to choose from such as aerobics, dancing, Pilates, Zumba, martial arts, and yoga. All of these are fun exercises that will keep you motivated and engaged. Moreover, if you are under a lot of stress, you will also let some steam off, which will result in facing stressful situations more efficiently. Classes are usually scheduled for 2–3 times a week, and if you can’t make it, you can start jogging in the nearest park, or even around your neighborhood.

2. Your organism shows your age

As we age, our organism ages too. Depending on genetics, it might not affect our physical appearance to a great extent, but our body will show it. You’ll notice that you cannot stay in a club till the early morning, because you feel so sleepy and annoyed by all the noise. Also, you don’t tolerate alcohol as you did before — you drink a little and you still suffer headache in the morning. In most cases, when people reach their thirties, their teeth become weak and easily fall victim to tooth decay. Therefore, visit your dentist regularly and prevent possible issues.

Many women in their thirties have issues with fertility, and it is very hard for them to get pregnant. This is completely normal, because the quality and the number of eggs decreases with years. There is nothing to worry about, because there is always a solution, and the perfect solution to getting pregnant is in vitro fertilization.

3. Your skin becomes more sensitive

Skin, our largest organ, is regenerating itself in order to successfully protect us from external factors such as sun, cold air, wind, and air pollution. With aging it becomes more fragile and sensitive, due to the decreased production of natural oils. The skin protects us from infections, and as it becomes less elastic, it is more prone to cracking, which can cause irritation. You need to help your skin stay soft and smooth, by taking good care of it. If you have noticed that you easily get bruised, then this is the first sign that your skin has become more vulnerable. Moisturize and hydrate your skin regularly, and make sure you visit a dermatologist, who will give you the best advice on how to keep it healthy and youthful.

Your body is your temple, and it protects you on a daily basis from all manner of stress and anxiety. In order to strengthen your body, start taking care of it. This way, you’ll keep your youthful look and become healthier.
